Even former supporters of Maduro’s government have accused it of corruption. Saab himself is detained in Africa on suspicion of money laundering. -
“Chinese CoronaVac vaccine shows 97 percent efficacy”
The 97 percent number refers to the rate of people who developed antibodies after vaccination, not whether they were free of infection. -
“We can say today that of all the countries of the Americas, the most politically stable country on the continent is the Bolivarian Homeland, the Homeland of Chávez, they (imperialism and its lackeys) know it, hence the blockade, the sanctions, persecution and baseless accusations every day.”
The country has fallen into a political, economic and humanitarian crisis in great part due to corruption, mismanagement of funds and poor leadership, which predate the sanctions. -

Widespread fragility characterizes Venezuela’s coronavirus response, intensified by chronic economic, political and humanitarian crises under Maduro. -

This description of a protest photo is wrong. Although there were protests in Santiago de Chile on October 18, 2020, the photo is from 2019. -

Human rights abuses in Venezuela have been widely reported in recent years. The latest U.N. report corroborates previous findings. -

In March, the U.S. indicted Maduro on narcoterrorism charges, and offered a $15 million reward for any information leading to him or for his capture, not his assassination. -

The video paints an optimistic picture of the situation in Venezuela, yet just two days after it was published, the staff at the same hospital went on strike over a lack of equipment and supplies.
