“The so-called evidence of mass death of local civilians emerged only after agents of the Ukrainian security service SBU entered the city. Isn’t this reminiscent of the White Helmets’ faked chemical attacks in Syria’s Douma …?”
Independent investigators and media reports have proved that the Douma chemical attack did take place. -
“Private sources confirmed to Sputnik that 87 militants had left for Ukraine … all of the 87 used to be affiliated with Daesh [Arabic for Islamic State] before they merged into new groups.”
State-owned Sputnik cited no public evidence. Meantime, Russia is reportedly sending mercenary troops to Ukraine. -
“We remind you that Russia, throughout all of its history, has never attacked anyone.”
Russia has engaged in numerous offensive military operations against its neighbors and others. Now, it’s rolling troops into Ukraine. -
“The police did not interfere because our aim [was] to preserve the child's life after the kidnappers threatened to kill him.”
Syrian police did not act to find the child when the family reported his kidnapping but rushed to take credit after his story went viral and he was ransomed. -
"Russia and China insist that the United States, as the only state party to the Convention that has not completed the process of destroying chemical weapons, accelerate the elimination of its chemical weapons stockpiles."
Russia allegedly used a nerve agent against dissident Alexey Navalny; China has restricted information scientists want about the pandemic origins in Wuhan. -
“After 20 years’ war, this is what the US has brought to the children in Afghanistan.”
In actuality, the photos show the suffering inflicted by Bashar al-Assad’s regime on children in rebel-held areas of Syria. -
"What happened in al-Sina'a prison reveals an American attempt to recycle the [Islamic State] terror group, especially after local and international calls to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria. This recycling serves to justify the presence of these troops in the area."
The terror group’s bloody attack on al-Sina’a prison shows how unstable Syria remains after years of civil war. -
Bashar al-Assad’s use of brutal force to save his regime is what ignited a full-scale civil war that has cost more than 350,000 lives.
-
"Syria plays an important role in supporting the International Community's efforts in combating crime in general, especially fighting drugs trade."
Multiple investigations allege the involvement of state actors and President Bashar al-Assad's relatives in drug trafficking. -
“The world still remembers well the events of 2015-2016, when refugees spent months sheltering under the open sky in European capitals. Not to mention the ongoing loss of life in the Mediterranean region, the English Channel and the Polish forests.”
The refugee crisis was largely caused by Russia and its intense bombing campaign to help Syrian ally Bashar al-Assad in the civil war. -
“[In] Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega has just won a landslide victory in his elections. While the U.S. does not acknowledge Nicaragua as a democracy … 74% of people voted for Daniel Ortega.”
The recent Nicaraguan election was a sham vote, and Ortega runs the country with an iron fist in the same dictatorial style as Syria’s Bashar al-Assad. -
“Western countries are hindering [refugees’] return so they can use them to put political pressure on Syria. These countries are using the pain of every Syrian refugee outside their homeland to serve their political ends.”
Millions of refugees from the Syrian civil war have no guarantee of a safe return. Rights groups have documented violent abuses against those who try.
