“Sputnik has obtained amateur footage of the suspected movement of US military convoys along Czech and Slovak roads, with the quiet transfers receiving no coverage from local or foreign media.”
The Czech Republic and Slovakia are both NATO states. There is little reason to expect any coverage about the movement of a small military convoy through NATO member states, and driving in broad daylight dispels the idea that NATO was trying to hide something about this transfer. -
“Stemming from the technical characteristics of the devices, the administration of which worked despite the [fact that] the convoy’s electronic jamming system was turned on, the conclusion can be made that the devices were transferred from foreign intelligence.”
Russian media reports alleging a Western hand in the assassination of Aleksandr Zakharchenko, former head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, fail to offer conclusive evidence. -
"There's an alarming situation regarding the issue of chemical disarmament. First of all, this is in connection with the actions of a number of Western states accusing the Syrian authorities with more and more unsubstantiated allegations of using banned chemical agents. We warn [the West] against new strikes on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic under another staged pretext.”
Despite the Russian foreign minister’s “fears” of staged pretexts to justify Western military action in Syria, the Assad’s regime’s sordid history of employing chemical weapons is far from “fake news. -
"A new portion of fake news about Petrov and Boshirov was presented immediately after the speech of [UK Prime Minister] Theresa May in the UN Security Council focusing on weapons of mass destruction, during which she repeated accusations against Russia. There is no evidence, so they continue the information campaign, the main task of which is to divert attention from the main question: 'What happened in Salisbury?' The question is: when will there be any evidence of the involvement of anyone, as London tells us, of poisoning in Salisbury?"
Evidence strongly suggests that “Petrov” and “Boshirov” are Russian intelligence agents and involved in the Salisbury poisoning. -
"The UK didn’t send its submarines to the Mediterranean to strike Syrian government forces amid expected false flag chemical attacks in the country, the Daily Mail reported, citing an unnamed source in the Ministry of Defense...the Daily Mail suggested that the UK’s Armed Forces are ‘under-equipped, underfunded and under-trained.'”
It is not clear whether the cruise-missile equipped HMS Talent submarine actually sailed into the waters off Syria, but in the last British air strike in Syria, cruise missiles were launched from aircraft based on Cyprus. Britain does not need submarines in the region to launch strikes there. -
“It [the 2008 Russian-Georgian War] was an operation for the enforcement of peace.”
International organizations and Russia recognized the conflict in Georgia in 2008 as a war. -
“…behind the walls of the Lugar Laboratory, biologists of the U.S. military-medical group in Georgia and private contractors under federal contract with the … Defense Threat Reduction Agency indeed could have performed secret experiments on residents of Georgia.”
There is no evidence that the people listed as “died” in the documents cited by Giorgadze were killed by “secret experiments” performed on them. On the contrary, they were treated with medicine approved by the Western medical and health associations for treatment of a hepatitis C infection. -
"We are unfortunately living in a propaganda era, when media and the Western establishment are trying to discredit any information coming from Russia. The team that investigates the plane’s downing will be obliged to take into account this new information released by the Russian authorities but the international community will remain silent. They prefer not to speak on a topic where they were wrong. They are and will remain totally silent on a subject. Their silence proves that this information is true and credible."
The sole member of a political party in the French National Assembly accused the West of “silence” following the latest Russian “evidence” on the downing of MH17. The international body investigating the accident (JIT) said it would make note of the claim, but pointed out it requested all information from the Russian Federation in 2014. The JIT also stated, it has investigated all previous “evidence” provided by Russia and found it “factually inaccurate.” -
"By using the Russian plane as cover the Israeli air pilots made it vulnerable to Syrian air defense fire. As a result, the Ilyushin-20, its reflective surface being far greater than that of the F-16, was downed by a missile launched with the S-200 system.”
The Israeli fighters did not use the Russian plane as “cover”: Israel says the missile that downed it was fired after the fighters left Syrian airspace. -
“Do not believe the stupid Western propaganda that Russia grabbed a piece of Ukrainian holy land from Ukraine. Nothing like that. Crimea has been Russian since very long time and it will be forever”
The Kremlin’s annexation of Crimea violated post-Soviet agreements Russia signed establishing the sovereignty and borders of Ukraine. The international community recognized the annexation of Crimea as a land grab in United Nation General Assembly Resolution 68/262. The resolution confirmed the territorial integrity of Ukraine and invalidated the Crimean referendum on independence held in 2014. -
“It’s (Salisbury) a tourist city. They have a famous cathedral there, Salisbury Cathedral. It’s famous throughout Europe and, in fact, throughout the world, I think. It’s famous for its 123-metre spire. It’s famous for its clock. It’s one of the oldest working clocks in the world.”
The two suspects’ story about going to Salisbury is riddled with unusual claims. They never made it to the cathedral, but managed to walk over a mile in the opposite direction. -
“Russia, Turkey and Iran have managed to achieve progress. Syria is preserved as an independent state, ISIS war machine is in ashes and peace talks are underway.”
Syrian government reconstruction of ruined cities is “non-existent,” a significant portion of the country is not under government control, Islamic State is capable of launching attacks and the Assad regime is dependent on Russian and Iranian support for its survival.
