The Assad regime’s forces have caused most of the casualties and the bulk of the destruction in Syria. -
"The LNA forces are the guarantee of Libya's political, economic and social stability" against “violent acts … ending the presence of foreign fighters and establishing security for the residents."
Haftar and his forces, which are fighting the U.N.-recognized Libyan government in Tripoli, are accused of war crimes and backed by Russian mercenaries. -
“According to the press service of the People's Militia of the Republic, over the past two weeks, 244 military personnel have deserted from positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
There is no evidence to support the desertion assertion, and the Russian-led separatist sources are infamous for spreading disinformation. -
“U.S. blocked Iran’s access to 10 million doses of coronavirus vaccine.”
India halted coronavirus vaccine exports under the United Nations-backed COVAX program due to a domestic vaccine shortage and a surge of COVID-19 cases. The move had a global impact but did not target Iran. -

Russia’s proxies in Ukraine’s Donbas conflict area have produced numerous fabricated claims, including purported child deaths. -

As with race elsewhere, ethnicity in Russia has been the basis for discrimination, law enforcement profiling and violence against minorities. -

Russia continues to occupy large parts of Ukraine. Russian-backed forces in Donbas have escalated the fighting with deadly results. -

Razor wire and border troops belie claim that refugees are met with open arms. -

The Russian tweet misstates civilian casualty figures, omits the context of ethnic cleansing and ignores Soviet history. -
“The Pentagon reported the theft of the latest Tomahawk Block IV cruise missile by Russian soldiers.”
The Pentagon did not make such an announcement; Block IV is not the newest Tomahawk missile; the “news” originated from a false interpretation of a dated media report. -
“[Major General Amnat Srimak] insisted that no Thai soldiers sent supplies to Myanmar soldiers and Myanmar has never [requested it] from Thailand.”
The Thai government has sent contradictory messages, raising suspicions that its military sent food to Myanmar soldiers. -
